As we move past the short days and long nights that Winter offered us we are now called upon to harness the energy of Spring by taking all of those imagined possibilities and directing a more purposeful path. This transition, like so many of life’s adjustments, challenges us. In order to avoid the frustration that can be experienced from unclear intentions this transition can be mindfully navigated with a momentary pause. To cultivate the resilience necessary to thrive we must honor our body’s need for emotional and physical rest and release.
In this workshop there will be an opportunity to bring awareness to our bodies as well as learn how to release what is no longer needed through the practice of TRE® (Tension Releasing Exercises). TRE® is a series of movements that prepare the body to release deep and chronic muscular tension patterns caused by prolonged or chronic stress. These self-induced therapeutic tremors that are present in all mammals create a shaking or vibrating allowing the body to discharge excess energy, release muscular tension and regulate the nervous system. All of which assist the body in returning to it’s healthiest state of balance.
