Multiple researchers have found that a common component to a fulfilled life is having connection to some kind of community. Using group interactions, paired sharing, and a full one-hour group Breathwork session, you will learn how to create connectivity with yourself, your emotions and with other people.  Experience connectivity while embracing your aliveness and unblocking negative energy from your body, and feel fully present in your body.  By learning to breathe consciously and fully, a person can discover and release the core issues held in the mind, body, and emotions.

Meet Master Li Junfeng
Master Li achieved international fame as a popular film actor, action director, and the coach of the Beijing Wushu team. At the height of his career his success brought him into contact with a spiritual master who taught him a simple but profound meditation technique, the Union of Three Hearts. His meditation practice subsequently led to a life-changing epiphany that planted the seeds of Sheng Zhen Meditation in his heart, and he left China to spread this message of Unconditional Love throughout the world.


Master Li is one of the true living masters of our time. He is the driving force behind bringing Sheng Zhen Meditations, practices of Unconditional Love, into the world. His life is a testament to the value of practicing this system. Master Li travels internationally to train and certify Sheng Zhen Meditation teachers, and to practice or simply spend time with his students. In doing so, he shares his passion, wisdom, humor and love, so that others can also experience the profound joy that permeates his entire being.
Master Li conducts workshops and teacher trainings in countries including Canada, the United States, France, Norway, Germany, Austria, Croatia, Latvia, Israel, Australia, Japan, and the Philippines, among others. When he's not traveling, he is based in Santa Barbara, California, where he teaches Sheng Zhen Meditation workshops.


Master Li’s goal is a world suffused with Unconditional Love, in which every person truly loves their neighbor as if they were family. He believes that the practice of Sheng Zhen Meditation is the key to achieving this vision. With regular practice, one comes to experience a Sheng Zhen state: a life steeped in Unconditional Love.
Everything about Master Li emanates a deep and profound love – his kindness, compassion, his joie de vivre, and his seemingly boundless energy and enthusiasm. Sharing Circle with Renk Kocturk

Join us in a sharing circle, where Renk Kocturk will share her journey working in Turkey & Syria as a Movement & Yoga therapist. Empowering children, teens, and adults that have been displaced or sexually abused through breath, meditation, and movement. Join us in this conversation, over Turkish tea to hear the stories of healing abroad in war torn countries. Gathering as a community to share her experiences, to not only stay informed, but for action, involvement, and support. All proceeds will go to Yusra Community Center, a center Renk Kocturk had worked with in Istanbul, Turkey. Yusra Community Center supports and educates Syrian children and teens, showing them possible magic in the world, and working to teach each child that their traumas do not define them. Many of these children do not have families, let alone toys. Any support to Yusra Community Center will be used to bring smiles to those beautiful, innocent faces.

As children we are naturally inclined to take our time exploring and going with the flow of the moment. However, as we grow older we may lose our connection to this inclination. While it is of course important to have structure and the ability to plan in our skill set, making the time to wander is equally as worthwhile.

Sheng Zhen Healing Gong is a restorative medical qigong that blends an ancient tradition with gentle, meditative movements performed seated on a chair. Sheng Zhen Healing Gong is an integration of healing traditions, using the power of Nature to heal oneself. What is the essence of the practice? The practice leads one to the original state that abides in every human being. One comes to experience the opening of the Heart and the stillness of the mind. This form is loved by many for the physical and mental benefits it has bestowed upon them. There are 3 Stages of Sheng Zhen Healing Gong, and each stage has 10 movements. Stage 1 is for the purpose of gathering healing qi into the body. Stage 2 emphasizes the processing of healing qi in the body. Stage 3 allows healing qi to go deep into each cell of the body. Stage 1 is quite effective all on its own, and it is the foundation of stages 2 and 3. We highly recommend this practice to people who have cancer.

This is an introduction to a 6 week course for anyone in recovery, and anyone looking to overcome self-destructive or addictive tendencies. Family members of addicts, yoga teachers, therapists and counselors will also find this course helpful. Yoga of Recovery combines Yoga, Ayurveda and 12-step principles to create a holistic approach to recovery. Over the 6 weeks the 6 Tenets of Recovery will be discussed starting with Life is Longing and ending with Life is Progress. A yoga asana practice will also be done each week (suitable for all levels) to bring balance and calm into the body as well as yoga nidra to relax.
